How to set up and use Quickey

Quickey is a barcode and text scanner that lives in your keyboard, so every scan lands exactly where your cursor is. These guides walk through each feature one by one: what the screen shows, what every setting does, and the order to set things up. Screenshots are from a Samsung phone running Quickey 1.9 and 1.10.

Getting started
Install, switch on the Quickey keyboard, and take a tour of the Home screen and menu.
Quickey keyboard
The toolbar, the layouts the keyboard picks for each field, the Catalog, Text and Clipboard panels, emoji, the WhatsApp chip, suggestions and the keyboard settings.
Barcode scanning
The Barcode page and every setting: prefix, suffix, Enter and Tab keys, barcode types, beep, auto zoom, continuous mode. Batch count, Find items and Pick codes (Business).
OCR (read text)
Scan text reads a label and sends the fields you choose, outlined on the camera. Pick text reads many lines or labels. AI fields, Verify with barcode, accuracy levels, rules and regex.
Catalog
Keep your products with photos, prices and files, and send one into a chat from the keyboard.
Quick text
Save the lines you send all day (greeting, bank details, address) and type them with one tap.
Floating button
A bubble on top of every app: scan, OCR, catalog, text or WhatsApp without switching keyboards.
Connect to PC or TV
Bluetooth keyboard, Wi-Fi or internet: pair the phone with Quickey Connect and scans type at the PC cursor.
Remembered PCs & auto-connect
Pair once, reconnect with one tap or automatically. The phone keeps up to 5 PCs, the PC lists up to 25 phones, and both sides must allow auto-connect.
Clipboard sync
Copy on the phone, paste on the PC, and back. Clipboard history with pins on the phone, a Clipboard button in the keyboard, and a tab in Quickey Connect.
Sessions (teams)
Many phones scan into one list on the PC: create a session in Quickey Connect, join by code or QR, duplicate rules, expected counts, pocket sessions and CSV export.
Remote (keyboard & mouse)
Use the phone as a keyboard, touchpad and air mouse for a paired PC or Android TV.
WhatsApp a number
Open a WhatsApp chat with any unsaved number from a selection, the clipboard, the keyboard, OCR or the bubble. Free.
Plans & credits
Free scans, the ad-credit bank, Premium and Business (Sessions, batch scanning, Pick text, AI OCR): what each includes and how a video adds scanning time or Business time.
Refer and earn
Share your link. When a friend installs Quickey and does 10 scans you both get a credit, and credits become free 7-day Premium or Business passes.
