Refer and earn: free Premium and Business passes

Invite a friend with your personal link. When they install Quickey and do 10 scans, you get 1 credit and so does your friend. Credits turn into 7-day passes. No sign-in is needed and it works from version 1.10.

Share your link
Every phone has its own link, in the form quickey.biz/r/ followed by 8 letters and digits. It never changes.
- Tap Share to send it with WhatsApp, SMS, email or any other app, or Copy to paste it yourself.
- Your friend taps the link. It opens Quickey on Google Play.
- Your friend installs the app from that page and opens it once while online. That is how Quickey knows the install came from you.
The link must be used for the install. A friend who searches for Quickey in the Play Store, or who already has it installed, is not linked to you. A phone keeps the first link it was installed with.
How a credit is earned
A friend counts when they have done 10 scans (barcode scans or OCR captures) with the internet on. At that moment:
- you get 1 credit, and
- your friend gets 1 credit too, as a welcome.
Under Your credits the line Friends qualified: 7 · waiting for 10 scans: 2 tells you how many friends have counted and how many have installed but not scanned 10 times yet. Open the page again to refresh it. The date under the number is when your oldest credit expires.
Redeem a pass
- Under Use your credits, choose Premium pass · 1 credit or Business pass · 3 credits.
- Set how many passes with − and +. It starts at 1; Use all picks as many as your credits allow. Each pass is 7 days, so 2 passes are 14 days.
- The line above the button shows the exact end date before you commit, and how many credits it uses.
- Tap Redeem and confirm. The pass starts at once; it cannot be saved for later or paused.
Redeeming needs the internet. After that the pass keeps working offline until its end date.
While a pass runs
A green ✓ Your pass is running card appears at the top of the page, and Home and Your Plan show the plan. A Premium pass gives unlimited scans and OCR with no ads. A Business pass adds Sessions, Batch, Find, Pick codes, Pick text and AI OCR, the same as the Business plan.
If you hold both kinds, the Business days run first and the Premium days follow: Business pass until 13 Oct, then Premium until 20 Oct. Redeeming more passes of the same kind adds 7 days each to the end.
When the last day ends the phone goes back to its normal plan: your subscription if you have one, otherwise free scans and ad credit. Nothing is charged, and a pass never turns into a subscription.
The rules in short
- 1 credit for you and 1 for your friend, when the friend installs through your link and does 10 scans.
- Premium pass = 1 credit, Business pass = 3 credits, 7 days each.
- Credits last 12 months from the day they are earned. The oldest are used first.
- A phone can earn up to 12 credits a year. Friends above that still count in Friends qualified.
- Credits and passes belong to the phone, not to an account. They cannot be moved to another phone, and a factory reset starts the phone fresh.
- Your own phone cannot use your own link, and two phones cannot refer each other.
"Sent with Quickey" on product cards
At the bottom of the page, Add 'Sent with Quickey' to what I share adds a last line with your link to the catalog product cards you send on WhatsApp, so customers who like the idea can install Quickey through you. Switch it off if you prefer cards without it.
